"American Idol" isn't the only launching pad for aspiring singers. Across the pond, "Britain's Got Talent" scored a huge boost in the Buzz after an unassuming contestant gave an amazing performance.
Susan Boyle (remember that name) became a Web phenomenon after singing "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables. The performance brought the audience to its feet and left the judges (including Simon Cowell) either speechless or in tears.
Before going on stage, Ms. Boyle admitted some self-deprecating facts about herself (she's never been kissed and lives alone with her cat, Pebbles). For those reasons and more, audiences were expecting the female William Hung. They were wrong.
Lookups on the sudden star posted huge gains. A no-name just the other day, Ms. Boyle quickly surged into our top 5,000 overall searches. Blogs and gossip rags went wild. The Mirror jumped on the story, reporting that while Ms. Boyle thought she "looked like a garage" on TV, she received a standing ovation when she showed up at her local church.
Other sources write that as a child, Ms. Boyle was the target of bullies because of a disability. But, with her newfound fame, she is getting the last laugh. In fact, she's already meeting with officials from Mr. Cowell's Sony BMG label. This may have been the first you've heard of her, but it certainly won't be the last.

SASA

At last, i managed to persuade Fad to bring me to SASA in Warisan Square... i don't know why but Fad had this kind of hatred to SASA... especially in Warisan... The other branch in 1B...he seems to be ok... but i just dont understand why he wouldnt let me go in SASA Warisan Square... So last week i manage to pull him in... i winked my eye to him.... and pull him into SASA...

My main point of visiting SASA is just to look around... and wanted to buy some make up brushes...but i end up buying other things than make up brushes... when i took a few things..i look at fad's boring face.... so i had a plan... i asked him if he would like to buy perfume...at first he refuse..but after that... he took this (Kasi happy dia ba) ;

It was recommended by the most friendly salesgirl namely MEI MEI... and it does smells very good... and fad took the biggest bottle...hmm... bak kata pepatah "diberi betis nak kan paha pulak" ... at least he was smiling ear to ear already...

Sunshine's Family and Sports Day 2009

Last Saturday on the 4th April, Nadya's school organised a Family and Sports Day... This year will be Nadya's last participation since she will be going to primary 1 next year... As usual parents and children came at 8:30 as the events will commence at 9am... For the first event was... the March pass... after that... Before speech made by Mrs Quadra (The Owner)...all the parents, childrens and teacher....stand up straight to sing the national anthem.. NEGARAKU & SABAH TANAHAIR... and of course not forgeting the children sand their school song "The Sunshine Song".....
Before any games starts, performanced made by the children of all Sunshine School... enjoy the photos taken that day...

Nadya played some clapping games.... while taking this picture.. there were a lot of other kids playing the same kind of games... i used to remember if we play CHIP CHIP CHIP ..BOM BOM BOM.. PAPA MAMA GALI GALI CHUS.... do you still remember this games... but their version was totally different and up to date... CHIP CHIP CHIP BOM BOM BOM PAPA MAMA PIZZA PIZZA HUT!!!!.....
Me and fad were laughing and smiling...

Fad participate for the FATHERS GAMES.... Fad and his old schoolmate, Zack were partners...This game was called "CORN EATING".... Zack was blind folded and had to feed Fad corn...whilst Fad's hand were tied at the back....

Unfortunately.... they got 5th place ...with 3 packs of keropok as their prize....eheheheh
This year, there were no lucky drwa but only exchange gifts...and we got bolster pillow in return... for food container that we gave...











Lil Baby Neal

i was supposed to post about Nadya's Sunshine School Family and Sports day... but will do that after doing this posting...

Last Sunday, me n Fad woke up very late due to very tired of exercising our lungs... Singing non stop... hahaha... i promised Christine to meet up at my parents house in puluduk. i came around 1pm... and it was feeding time for baby Neal... as soon as he's done...i picked him up... all of a sudden he cried... Christine said its his nap time... so Christine brought him my parent's room to put him to sleep...

After 30 mins (or maybe less)... i cannot stand to see little cute babies sleeping so adorably... mau cubit cubit.. i used to do this too with Nadya... i put her to sleep and i wake her up again... so this what i did to baby Neal....

Outing with friends

Last saturday me and fad organize an outing for our friends in Cempaka. Since only few that reply to my invitation, we took a medium room which can fit from 5-10 people... but a lot turn up...im was so delighted. Me and fad came around 8pm.... benny came second (surprise kan he came early)....and sandra mosuyun came at the same time as benny....me and fad came early and we sang our lungs out....wakakka...there's a lot of new songs.... Since i've told everybody that... its just a chilling out and catching up sessions, so nobody got wasted.... people that turned up.... Benny, AhCai (He got mabuk...he claimed 'lama sdh tidak minum'), Sandra (so happy she could make it), Redge, Debra & another fren (Sorry din get ur name..), Mae & Felix, Azie (Eventhough lambat tapi tataps datang ba cikgu..) too... and not forgetting Afad's Friends... Sius, Ies & Ayu ( the gf...which clicked with us right away and can sing her lungs out perfectly...and we got a new singer in the gang)... enjoy the pictures... not much pictures were taken... Thanks to everybody that came that night... i had fun...even though nobody got wasted but it was a very good outing... can wait the next outing.. Mark Michael has been YMs me for the next outing... Sabar mark...
